Just got an e-mail from idealist.org about their Global Volunteering Fairs. For those of you in the LA area, there will be one on Thursday, February 25th at UCLA, from 6pm to 9pm. Registration is free! You should attend even if you're just thinking about volunteering abroad. If you're interested in volunteering in Latin America, I suggest you also check out Volunteer South America. I found the orphanage I'm volunteering with through the website.
